名鉄東岡崎駅ビルの一角に入る接骨院。
健康を求めるお客様に対して、最大限の「癒し」を与える空間をシンプルな建築操作で創り出すことを目標とした。
そこで、共用通路との間に、空気は循環させつつお客様のプライバシーを確保する「アクセントスクリーン」を、そして、その裏に６つの個室型の施術室と受付スペースとしての「グレーのボックス」を置くだけの構成とした。
「アクセントスクリーン」は、施設コンセプトである 「swing higaoka」の音楽的要素をベースに「healing」をかたちとして表現しつつ、マテリアルは岡崎の中山間地域の木や石とすることで、岡崎の玄関口として「local」を表現し、市街地と中山間地域をつなぐ役割を込めている。

This osteopathic clinic is located in a corner of the Meitetsu Higashi-Okazaki Station Building.
The goal was to create a space that provides the utmost “healing” for clients seeking better health, achieved through simple architectural design.
To this end, the design consists solely of an “accent screen” positioned between the clinic and the common corridor—which ensures air circulation while maintaining client privacy—and a “gray box” placed behind it, housing six private treatment rooms and a reception area.
The “accent screen” embodies the concept of “healing” through form, drawing on the musical elements of the facility’s concept, “swing higaoka.”
By using wood and stone sourced from Okazaki’s mountainous regions, it expresses a sense of “local” identity as the gateway to Okazaki, serving as a bridge between the city center and the surrounding countryside.
