「Okazaki Micro Hotel ANGLE」と「ie」がCOVID-19による緊急事態宣言下でのオープンだったこともあり、オープン前のイベントは控えて、状況が落ち着いたらお披露目の機会を設けたいと思いながら、緩やかに営業がスタートした。

まだしばらくはCOVID-19の出口は見えない中でウィズコロナと言われても正直どう付き合っていいのかよくわからない。そのような茫漠とした状況でも漸進するために、考えうる感染対策は尽くした上で、設計を担当したstudio36と、施工を担当したMUSÉ creators officeが共振し合うような合同建築展として、「１/１」（＝1分の1）というオープニングイベントを開催した。

「１/１展」は、施工プロセスとともに現物（＝原寸）の空間を体験して頂くことを目的としている。約半年の営業で増えてきたモノが少しずつ移動しながら最適な場を探している状態や、設計と施工の工夫を展示により現物でリンクさせ、図面・模型・CGでは表現しきれない情報を等身大の空間を通じて伝えたいと考えた。



Since “Okazaki Micro Hotel ANGLE” and “ie” opened during the state of emergency declared due to COVID-19, we decided to refrain from holding any pre-opening events. We plan to organize an unveiling ceremony once the situation stabilizes, but for now, we have started operations on a limited basis.

With no end to COVID-19 in sight for the time being, I honestly don’t know how to navigate this “living with COVID” era. To move forward gradually even in such a vague situation, we implemented every conceivable infection control measure and held an opening event titled “1/1” as a joint architectural exhibition where studio36, responsible for the design, and MUSÉ creators office, responsible for construction, could resonate with one another.

The “1/1 Exhibition” aims to allow visitors to experience the actual (full-scale) space alongside the construction process. We wanted to convey information that cannot be fully expressed through drawings, models, or CG by linking the ingenuity of the design and construction through the exhibition itself, showcasing the state of the space as objects accumulated over about six months of operation gradually shift to find their optimal places.
